Festival 2020 will be CBJC’s first online virtual presentation in its twenty-year history of producing festivals. In our industry, cultural arts institutions, jazz clubs, venues, festivals, and musicians are compelled to postpone, cancel or modify longstanding events in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“One Brooklyn Jazz Festival” invited venues, organizations, and musicians to showcase their renditions of this art form, by participating in this music series presented through CBJC’s online platforms. Look for e-blasts, social media posts, and links on our website to be a part of this state-of-the-art experience. CBJC Chairman, Clarence Mosley, Jr., states, “Our borough’s diversity will be displayed through virtual presentations of pre-recorded live jazz sessions, lectures on the history of jazz, woman in jazz, and youth jazz programs.”
